While we managed to publish 3 other apps shortly after the Play Store developer account was availed, submissions of the LC Messenger app were repeatedly rejected despite modifications. After much internet research, it seemed that the app was deemed as sensitive in nature and there was expected to meet few other requirements that the 3 others were not subject to – namely, easily accessible Privacy Policy statement as well as secure storage of collectible userdata. Once the above were met, the messenger got approved and published.

As noted on the same post linked to above, apps are primarily made available via the Play Store for the convenience and security of users – and not that we find the platform any friendlier. We therefore would like to continue to recommend that those who can use the AppLookup to access the Play Store. Which gives control over imagery.
